Ford Motor Co.'s shipments of the 2011 Ford Fiesta subcompact to U.S. dealerships will be delayed by 10 days to two weeks because of storm-damaged railroad lines. Key railroads in northern Mexico were severely damaged by Hurricane Alex on June 30 and later by Tropical Storm Bonnie, said Angie Kozleski, a Ford spokeswoman.
The BMW M135i Concept is heading for Geneva
BMW are taking the first petrol-engined car in its new M Performance range to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show – the BMW M135i Concept. It looks like BMW are going to be rolling out their new sub-M range of cars across the entire BMW range. We’ve already had the big diesel bruisers of the new M Performance Range – the M550d, X5 M50d and X6 M50d – revealed ahead of Geneva – and news of the M Performance Parts for the 1 Series.
This is the new BMW M135i, a 316bhp hot hatch and the fifth model to emerge from BMW's new M Performance Automobiles tuning arm. We've already seen the 5-series (in saloon and Touring guises) and the X5 and X6 with triple-turbo diesel engines from this new sub-division of BMW's infamous M Division, but the M135i the first petrol offering. The M135i was previewed by a concept car at the 2012 Geneva motor show earlier this year, and the production version is little different.
